Welcome to The Whole Mishpucha, where your family history becomes my mission! Founded by April Harrison Goldenberg, a seasoned investigator with over 25 years of experience, I pride myself on integrity and dedication in uncovering your ancestral story. ​Curiosity and finding answers to puzzles has always been my passion.
I began my genealogy research when my father told me he knew nothing of his family history. His mother's surname was Balter and he was certain that it must have been Balteransky before immigrating from "Russia" to the United States. Many genealogy research sites subscriptions later, I was able to identify that my grandmother was from Lithuania and her surname was actually Schlepak! Who wouldn't want to change that name? ​

Getting Started
To perform a precise and comprehensive analysis, I will require the names and dates of birth and/or death the ancestors you wish to explore. While not mandatory, it would be beneficial to have DNA test results, any scanned family documents, or the beginnings of a family tree.
